To benefit the community by providing an inclusive and participative venue for women where the focus is on social and intellectual activities that enhance the well-being of members.
The Manawatu County Club's Vision
- Cater for the different interests of its members by providing a wide and flexible range of activities in which members may participate.
- Ensure members' participation in all decisions by a structure of committees and convenors.
- Ensure financial stability through prudent management by an elected committee, financial advisors and an annual audit or review.
- Maintain an environment suitable for all activities offered at the Club by ensuring the premises are in a sound and comfortable condition.
- Ensure policies and strategies comply with government legislation to safe-guard members' health and well-being.
- Maintain the Club's regular support of vulnerable women and children.
Club Management
The Club is managed by an elected committee, on advice from financial advisors and through an annual review. Membership participation on all aspects of the Club is offered through a structure of committees, convenors of activity groups and liaisons.
Our hard working Committee members and convenors are all volunteers who are passionate about the Club and are forever mindful of the significance the Club holds for members. We thank them for generously sharing their time and expertise.
